The Midwest Trans Youth Conference is a weekend conference dedicated to transgender, gender nonconforming, questioning and SOFFA youth ages 24 and under. |
Location:Camp Whitcomb/Mason is a year round facility located near Hartland , WI , approximately 35 miles northwest of Milwaukee , on scenic Lake Keesus .
We will be lodging in cabins. Each cabin contains bunk beds that sleep eight people comfortably. Cabins also include a heater and sitting area with a cozy fireplace.
All bathrooms are gender neutral and semi private showers are available. All meals will be provided. The camp is a chemical-free zone, including all illegal drugs, alcohol and tobacco. Workshops will take place in a number of areas, however our central meeting space is Friendship Lodge. This rustic, wooden lodge seats approximately 100 people and is wheelchair- and walker-accessible. It also has a fireplace and substantial room for entertainment and workshops.
