Location:

entranceMTYC 2009 will be held at Camp Minikani in Hubertus, WI, approximately 25 minutes Northwest of Milwaukee.  Open since 1919, Camp Minikani spans over 150 acres tucked into the woods on the shores of Amy Belle Lake, and offers comfortable sleeping accommodations, food service that can meet multiple dietary needs, and professional meeting space.

The beautiful campground includes new, modernized facilities, buildings and cabins.   Our central meeting space for MTYC 2009 is the Halquist Leadership Lodge.  This brand new lodge seats approximately 150 people and is wheelchair- and walker-accessible.  It also contains a natural stone fireplace and substantial room for entertainment and workshops.   Large programming, entertainment and some workshops will be held in this space.  Smaller workshops and caucuses will take place in the lodge and cabins.

We will be lodging in dorms in the Halquist Leadership Lodge and in cabins near the lodge.  These facilities are almost identical, including bunk beds that sleep eight people comfortably, restrooms and showers nearby, shelving, and meeting space.  All of the cabins have been updated, including a new heater, and are very close to the main lodge on an accessible, concrete path.  All bathrooms are gender-free/-neutral and semi-private showers are available.
